Why this blog?

In Colombia there are many beautiful and exotic places to be visited, although many Colombians do not know exist. We learn more about our landscapes and tourist destinations and feel proud of what we have, not any country in the world has the nature and diversity of plants and animals that we have. I am writing this blog to share my experience in a place you visit, which is called Hotel Maguipi in Buenaventura, also called Eden Pacific is a small hostel located in the peaceful area of Valle del Cauca 40 minutes by boat.

Experience:
Hotel Maguipi I went with my parents, my brothers and my grandmother was a spectacular experience. To get there we got up at 4am because Cali to Buenaventura there are approximately three hours by bus. Arriving at Buenaventura we headed to the pier to catch the boat that would take us to our destination. During the 40-minute boat I could see many animals and losing itself saw several ships offshore. When you reach the island whose name I forget, we entered the hotel, which is located at the tip of the mountain where a cliff is formed with the sea and achieved a spectacular view. While I was watching the sea vi spend 4 dolphins were swimming north.
In Maguipi working people of the region so show their customs. The food is delicious, prepared fish of all shapes and accompany it with stew, served with dishes of food to be quite pleased.
At night the sky is filled with stars and the sound of the waves hitting the rocks makes you able to relax and sleep soundly.
While in Maguipi had the opportunity to go see humpback whales and it was a wonderful experience. To go see them you have to go by boat sea in about 20 minutes when they see a whale out of the sea, there to stop the boat as it may scare them. While the boat is still, the waves make it move and in some cases one may get dizzy. While we were watching the whales, one of them came straight to us and we had to start emergency and that we could overthrow the feeling threatened.
Being in Maguipi can do tours in the jungle to get to other beaches, on one of those tours we saw snakes spend x, saw lots of monkeys, spiders, snails, etc. While we were walking down the mountain, a conga ant peak to the guide who was swelled leg and gave her fever. When we finished the tour we got to the "Golden Beach", this is a beach where sea water is clear and the sand is clean. Another of the beaches we visited was "Playa San Pedro", here the sand is silted and many trunks but the waves are so big and strong that in some cases one would lie down.

During that week I was in Maguipi with my family the wonderful happens, it is a place I highly recommend going and if you're looking to relax, be surrounded by nature and see paisas only, please go to "Hotel Maguipi".
